Hello Friends!
Today’s post is from our vintage bird/mountain themed wedding outside Denver Colorado recently. We love so much about this wedding and it’s location, and can’t wait to come back next year! K&P put us up in the coolest bed’n breakfast ever “Bear Inn” with it’s own little house dog “Scotty” and views of the valley and moutains, super pimp 🙂 Their wedding site at The Meadows at Marshdale was great/perfect, with the wedding ceremony in the valley set around a yellow door alter (great idea) and the reception on the hill overlooking everything. Kirsten’s walk down the aisle was pretty amazing. She literally walked like 4 mins down the hill into the valley to her man, pretty sweet. The reception was a favorite of mine. They had all local Colorado beers there and 1 Coors thats called “prohibition” and only sold in Denver…made my day…Oh, and this is the 3 wedding in July that it ALMOST or actually did rain at, so we we’re so thankful to have spots of light to still work with and that it didn’t ruin their plans on the ceremony in the field 🙂
Ok, on a side note, here our “Must do’s” if you’re in Denver:
First off, if you’ve never been to Denver especially downtown, its totally worth it. Tons of shopping, food and hippies like us that love music, eating, biking and walking! it’s awesome. Secondly, go eat at Euclid’s Hall and walk the “Mall” street close by. Euclid’s was by far the best pub/Americana food we’ve had yet, and we’ve been all over the US. so they get 2 “glass jars” up 😉
Hope you guys dig some of the images, and can’t wait to share another sweet Michigan wedding later this week!
Love, peace, high fives, and wonderful fall weather to everyone!
Great details at the welcome table for the reception! and ribbons to wave as they exited the ceremony…clever
The Epic “walk to her man” (left) , Preston’s hear a flutter (right) 😉
Beers, Brides, and Birds….winning triple B’s
Probably our favorite reception detail collage ever..colors, vibe, perfect
Everyone knew the “Thriller” dance…every….move….it was Amazing!
