Hannah & Josh – Vintage Wedding in Florence, AL

Hey There Friends!

Today’s post is on the wonderful couple Hannah & Josh…you may remember their E-session with us a couple months back:  http://glassjarphotography.com/blog/2011/08/hannah-josh-vintage-engagement-photography/

Their wedding fit them perfectly and had some pretty neat touchs!! It’s was at “The Oaks” which is a plantation home just outside of Florence, AL perfect for their vintage inspired wedding. The Oaks had everything. I cool 18th century home, farm land for miles, and even the grave of the original owner underneath a massive magnolia tree in the front yard! The coolest thing was how Hannah entered and exited the ceremony. She rolled up to the isle (with her dad) in a vintage Ford, then her and the new buds Josh drove off to the reception in it…pretty unique and romantic. Another cool thing/great idea was the dancing at the reception. No loud “club music” or quietly played string quartets, but a 18th century “dance caller” guiding and teaching traditional dances like the Virginia (something or other, and a Polka type thing)…so cool!!!

Hope you guys enjoy and we’ll have a pretty sweet post up next week or so too!!

Thanks for following us, and Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

All the girls had individual shoes that fit each personality, and had a message from Hannah on each “soul” clever, clever 🙂
