Ann & Jeff – California Vintage Wedding Photography

Hello Again Everyone,

Today’s post is on the wonderful couple Ann & Jeff from one of our favorite places in the world now, Mid-South California. California was absolutely gorgeous! We drove the coast line to meet them the day before the wedding for their Engagement session and it was so beautiful…we tried to take a video on the iPad so we could share it with you guys, but it ended up being way to shaky for viewing and if we shared it you’d just get dizzy haha, but trust me it was very nice. We even made a stop at the beach on the way back. I told Bethany I was getting in the water no matter what BUT I definitely changed my mind after walking out on the pier. It was COLD! We’re used to this warm Gulf Coast water so we were ill prepared haha. We did get some pretty cool pictures of the pier and the happenings that were going on at the time…we’ll try to get that posted and shared for you guys too. 🙂  The next day was all business though! First, we met Ann to document her getting all dolled up at a place in San Luis Obispo called The Sanitarium. It was amazing, everything was decorated with local artist work, and even had a jam area in the front foyer of the house (where I threw down some sweet piano jams before we left). Very cool. Next, We were off to the actual wedding site in  Nipomo, California at the gorgeous Dana-Powers House. A Super Awesome venue with a barn in the back, circled by orange orchards, vineyards and the mountains where they had their entire wedding….it was perfect. I think it would probably win the award for the most unique venue that we’ve been to so far, not to mention that the weather there was phenomenal. 75 degrees and no humidity! It was paradise for us compared to the 105 degree super humid weather here in Alabama. It was a nice break for us. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did capturing it!

(check out her Highlight reel video in Super8 at the end of the photos, if you want to feel even more “There”)
