Rachel and Clay – Fayetteville, TN Engagement Photography

Happy June everyone! June marks the beginning of our crazy wedding season so we’ll be working non-stop trying to get our weddings and sessions edited for you all. We are so excited for our brides and grooms and can’t wait to celebrate with them! Like I said earlier this week on Facebook, we have the BEST couples ever! We couldn’t be more blessed. Thanks to each one of you for choosing us to photograph your wedding and letting us play a part in your big day.

Our session we are sharing today is of one of our awesome couples, Rachel and Clay. They met when they were in High School and were introduced by some mutual friends while they were at the movies. Still together and getting hitched! 🙂 When we started discussing ideas for an E-session one of the ideas we had was to do an old timey movie theater shoot since that’s how they ended up meeting. We got in touch with our new friends at the Lincoln Theater in Fayetteville, TN and they were nice enough to let us shoot there. If you’ve never been there, it’s definitely work checking out! It was built in 1951 and the inside looks just as neat and vintage!  We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Thanks to everyone there for being so nice and friendly and letting us use your space! 🙂

This session is quite different from how we usually shoot…99% of our shoots are outside in natural light and with this shoot we were taking everything not only inside a building, but inside without any natural light at all! Very pleased with it though. Hope you all enjoy it!

Not sure if any of you guys are being swarmed by theses suckers, but they were EVERYWHERE in downtown Fayetteville! Kept jumping on my reflector and at our faces! haha It’s definitely funnier now than it was then. 🙂 Plus they were SOOO loud we literally had to shout to hear each other. Crazy bugs!
