First Friday in Florence, AL

Hello Friends,

This past weekend Bethany and I went to Florence, Alabama (the home of my beloved alma mater University of North Alabama) for “First Friday”.  Which was awesome. Local artist, musicians, craft makers and bakers line the streets to sell and share, and the entire city pours out to support it. I had a show at a local venue called Rivertown, which was a bit of a “welcome back” for me into playing songs solo, and or for that matter, live again. For the past 4 years I’d been playing & writing with John Paul White (of The Civil Wars), Firewood, or Eyes Around. So, being all alone was both strange and refreshing. Friday made me really excited to post some of the new music I’ve been working on, and even add it to some of our wedding video’s we have coming up…Anyway, we had a Blast, and wanted to share some of what we saw there…

It was EXTREMELY hard to not buy and eat this entire Cinnamon Roll….We still think about it…haha
