Hello Everyone!
We are so excited about this post and our wedding season that gets into full swing this weekend!! Stay tuned…we’ve got some pretty awesome brides, grooms, and weddings coming your way in the near future.
We wanted to design and shoot a “Honey Theme” Wedding, and with inspiration board help from our good friend Stephanie with Proper Measures, hair and makeup help from our other good friend Suzanne Kantmann, 3 days of non-stop shopping and Whitney even hand making a table from an old door, I think we can say that this mission was accomplished! haha We really wanted to capture the feel of a romantic and sweet southern wedding, incorporating all things honey. I mean really….what screams southern better than good ‘ol local honey?! From honey jars to honey comb to honey colored accents, this shoot oozes with romance!
We somehow stumbled upon the actual honey farm where the honey featured in this shoot was made! How lucky! I left those shots to Whitney though…within 30 seconds of stepping out of the car we were chased back into in by bees. Whitney was brave enough to try a second time, but I was a chicken and didn’t want to risk it![]()

Thought I would comment and say neat theme, did you make it for yourself? It’s really awesome!
This is one of the most perfectly styled and photographed shoots I’ve seen on a blog in a long time. Gorgeous work!

It’s actually from an antique store called “MJ’s” in Alabama, Not sure what the pattern name is, sorry
I love the china set!! Where is it from? What is the name of the pattern? I came from Southern Weddings to try to find it!!!!!
Thanks so much Lindsay!! Glad you stumbled our way
I stumbled upon you from Southern Weddings, absolutely gorgeous shoot!
It’s not as cool/nice in reality, and definitely won’t fit in the Ford! haha…. But Thank you for the kudos
